Job description :

Reporting to the President, the incumbent's main responsibility is the financial management of the company. In addition, he or she is responsible for overseeing the administrative, physical, legal and IT department activities, managing investment and financing projects, shareholder relations for the financial component and risk management.

He or she is a member of the Executive Committee and will play a leading role in the strategic development of the company.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a financial strategy to meet the company's business objectives, particularly in a context of significant growth
  • Plan, organize, direct and control the activities of the finance and administration department and provide active leadership within the department
  • Analyze the financial performance of the company and its various business lines and propose solutions to maintain and develop the profitability of projects and investments
  • Establish, implement and monitor relevant KPIs
  • Oversee the development, implementation and maintenance of budgeting and accounting systems, as well as the development of management reports
  • Structure the operations of the internal services department to optimize process efficiency
  • Manage cash flow to ensure that the company meets its financial obligations
  • Implement asset management and control mechanisms
  • Ensure legal monitoring of the company's contracts and agreements
  • Ensure the management and supervision of the information technology, administration and human resources departments
  • Ensure the follow-up of various administrative files (various corporate contracts, insurance, building management, etc.)
  • Participate in the development of the organization's global strategies by integrating the financial aspect
  • Manage all financing and investment projects, develop and maintain excellent business relationships with investors, financial institutions and financial and regulatory authorities
  • Prepare and present financial and administrative information to the Board of Directors and provide advice to the Board and senior management.

Skills and qualifications :

  • Undergraduate degree in accounting/finance
  • Recognized accounting designation (CPA)
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in a position with similar responsibilities
  • Experience in managing multiple subsidiaries
  • Excellent business acumen, strategic skills and focus on action and results
  • Bilingualism required
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
