Job description :

Reporting to the President and in collaboration with the Operations Manager, the Sales Manager will be responsible for developing his/her department in a growing and financially healthy company that is creative and well established for over 50 years in its field. And most importantly, will have room to grow and be creative in this sales department.                                   

Responsibilities

  • Implement the strategy that will enable the sales team (internal & external) to meet and exceed defined goals and this is accomplished through your planning, training and supervision.
  • Provide leadership in coaching, structuring, motivating the sales force to develop existing customers and to seek out new customers and markets.
  • Share with management market trends and customer needs in order to stay ahead of the curve in terms of products and solutions for a demanding customer base that loves innovation.
  • Follow the results and analyze them in order to see which markets are promising, the weaknesses, and the expectations of the customers to remedy them and to increase the turnover of the company.
  • Be responsible for the various files for quotations and price estimates for customers.
  • Implement good performance indicators in order to ensure good practices and results for everyone.
  • Participate in various corporate projects, marketing strategies and client activities by being proactive and creative in order to position ourselves as an innovative and reliable company. 
  • Be involved in the budgeting process, future forecasting and price list development.

Skills and qualifications :

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration/engineering or marketing
  • +5 years of experience in sales/team management (or similar position)
  • Relevant experience in the construction industry
  • Excellent organizational, management and leadership skills
  • Be self-motivated and performance/results oriented
