Job description :

The impact of this role is wide and on many levels. First, innovation to assure the optimization of the efficiency of the products. In addition to this, the Product Director will lead a team of product managers; to develop an inspiring vision and sustainable strategies in collaboration with other teams inside the organization.

Through your intrapreneurial thinking and approach, his/her experience in the HR Tech market, with his/her contact with customers in the industry, his/her deep understanding of all processes and methods in product management and technical development, he/she will lead the team successfully and raise the product to the next level. The Product Director is also tasked with overseeing the improvement of the day-to-day product activities in such a way that ensures that the product is constantly growing to suit the consumers’ needs.

Description of main responsabilities

  • Establish strategies and roadmaps and is responsible for the product’s vision
  • Ensure positive ROI is reached for developed features
  • Lead and develop a team of product experts capable of delivering product requirements with prioritized features and link it with the overall product strategy
  • Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure efficient implementation of products' improvements
  • Identify, prioritize problems and major opportunities across the product, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in delivering solutions
  • Conduct research and collaborate closely with user/market research specialists to have a good understanding of the market, our competitors and customers.
  • Compile and analyse data resulting from user and market research and identify the best opportunities for our products (new market segments, new features, performance improvements etc.)
  • Identifying opportunities that lead to the growth of the product through innovation

 

 

Skills and qualifications :

Education and / or experience

  • Bachelor's degree in the HR Tech sector or a related field
  • Deep understanding and experience in the HR Tech market
  • Proven experience in product management
  • Analysis skills to understand sales statistics and marketing data
  • Financial skills to follow a budget/evaluate the profitability of products
  • High level motivational skills to manage a virtual team
  • Bilingualism written and spoken: english and french (an asset)
  • Experience in Finance, Business administration (an asset)
