Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the ideal candidate will have the opportunity to participate significantly in the growth of this company whose tasks will be in constant evolution.


We are looking for a profile that wants to grow within this company; his or her role can be defined and evolve according to your expertise. The candidate will quickly have to put in place the necessary team to support the accounting and financial operations of the company. Description of the main responsibilities

  • Plan, coordinate and direct operational tasks related to the accounting department (payroll, accounts payable and receivable, month-end processes, etc.)
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
  • Manage balance sheet items by implementing efficient reconciliation and follow-up processes
  • Ensure the accuracy of financial information
  • Hire, train, supervise and develop the accounting department team
  • Participate in the implementation of the ERP management software
  • Collaborate in the budgeting/forecasting process
  • Participate in the implementation of processes and controls at the accounting level in collaboration with the teams of the different departments of the company
  • Coordinate and manage the annual audit of financial statements
  • Participate in various special projects

Skills and qualifications :

Education and/or experience

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and the title
  • CPA 4 to 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of ASPE accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience in an accounting firm (an asset)
  • Experience in a start-up and/or technological innovation environment (an asset)
  • Experience in ERP system implementation/integration (an asset)
