Job description :

Reporting to the President, the Executive Vice President will lead all strategic (multi-site) operations. Under his responsibility, his objective will be to mobilize employees, as well as to implement a culture of excellence and continuous improvement for his team. He will be in charge of developing and implementing a strategic plan to achieve corporate objectives and quality standards. He or she will also be responsible for optimizing cost management and maximizing customer relations and satisfaction. He will be part of the executive committee to ensure the healthy growth of this organization.

Description of responsibilities 

 

  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to standardize and standardize all operations.
  • Optimize budget management related to activities in order to achieve corporate objectives without neglecting quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide expert advice for improvement initiatives/projects in different functions and locations by leading and facilitating projects throughout the organization.
  • Ensure standardization of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
  • Ensure the achievement of corporate objectives related to business growth and employee development.
  • Optimize the efficiency, productivity and performance of the teams in order to reach the set objectives.
  • Develop a business partnership based on proximity to clients and various stakeholders.
  • Communicate, implement and apply the company's policies and procedures.
  • Motivate personnel and be a source of positive influence by example.
  • Promote the autonomy of the workforce by empowering employees.

 

Skills and qualifications :

Education and/or experience 

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration required (business or finance, considered)
  • MBA, CA, CPA (an asset)
  • At least 10 years experience in personnel management 
  • Bilingual (French and English)

  • Ability to evolve within a family-oriented company
  • Management experience with multi-site responsibilities 
  • Change leadership while keeping all employees engaged and mobilized
  • Excellent skills to achieve objectives
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to different cultural particularities both internally (organization) and externally (suppliers and customers).
  • Mentoring while increasing the mobilization of its teams
  • Availability to travel
