Job description :

The Director will own the design, development, implementation and evolution of the recruitment strategies in order to meet ambitious business objectives. He (she) will demonstrates thoughts in leadership, vision, and innovation in strategically advising execs and managers and deploying plans for top talent attraction. 

Description of responsabilities

  • Translate business needs into strategy and quantifiable outcomes
  • Understand, anticipate and monitor needs in the business and trends in the recruitment market
  • Build, develop and upskill a team of talent acquisition professionals in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, including technical and senior level recruiters and a team manager
  • Coach managers around human planning processes
  • Proactively develop innovative talent acquisition strategies and programs to enable scaling
  • Communicate a clear vision and strategies around recruitment to the executive committee and managers
  • Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts at every stage of the hiring process with the recruitment team and hiring managers
  • Solidify data analytics and metrics approach and processes
  • Lead and develop a team's manager & acquisition specialists

Skills and qualifications :

Education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in an HR or related field
  • Bilingualism in written and spoken English and French
  • Proven management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment analytics, talent strategy and organizational change
  • In-depth knowledge/experience in the HR technology market

Specific Skills

  • Experience/comfort with executive leaders
  • Excellent organizational, process and leadership skills
  • Strong business/technical acumen
  • Knowledge of employer branding - HR technologies
  • Leadership profile, Intrapreunarial
