The role of the director of certification and taxation will be to supervise a team of professionals offering accounting and tax compliance services to the firm's clients. The ideal candidate will have to carry out quality projects within the required deadlines, while keeping a critical, open and professional mind in order to identify avenues for value-added recommendations.

Description of main responsibilities

• Supervision and training of team members
• Planning and review of year-end files
• Revision of personal income tax returns (T1) and inheritance / trusts (T3)
• Interaction and regular tax implications with the firm's clients

Skills and qualifications :

Education and / or experience

• BAC in accounting and CPA
• +7 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience in team management
• Experience of complete accounting cycle in an SME context
• Canadian accounting standards for private enterprises (ASPE)
• Professional oral and written bilingualism (French and English)
