Job description :

The CEO will assume strategic leadership and execution of the long-term plan for our client who is a global producer and distributor of high-quality food products. Having full responsibility for the functions, he will have to develop strategies to support the objectives of growth and profitability (P & L). In particular, it will have to implement action plans to accelerate the growth and penetration of the US and Canadian markets. As the group leader in North America, he will continue to develop an inspiring culture for his team and develop business relationships with all internal and external partners.

Essential functions:

  • Exercise leadership to guide the organization towards long-term growth and profitability (P & L) objectives;
  • Optimize processes in all areas of the organization to ensure growth;
  • Develop market approach and sales structures to enable accelerated development and penetration of the US market;
  • Ensure the execution of the industrial development plan aimed at increasing production capacity and adjust future projects in line with market trends;
  • Identify any business development opportunities, both at the potential market and product development level;
  • Lead, develop and empower teams directly under their responsibility based on the values ​​and vision of the organization. Share this vision and develop an appropriate culture for all employees through its actions and approach;

Skills and qualifications :

  • University degree in a relevant field (MBA an asset)
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry in consumer products
  • B2B business experience
  • Experience in the US market
  • P & L responsibility in a North American company (CEO, COO, CEO)
  • Management of a multifunctional management committee
  • Experience in multinational environment
  • Bilingualism required (French, English)
