Job description :

We are looking for an experienced Project manager for our international client in the agri-food sector. In this role, you will coordinate people and processes to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline. Specific project manager responsibilities include developing detailed project plans for their new plant, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every specific project on time within budget and scope.

Essential functions

Project management and onsite support

  • Developing detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering every project on time within budget and scope.
  • Coordinate internal resources and subcontractors for flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors

Finance

  • Defines cash flow details starting from project details (WBS)
  • Coordinates with accountant for taxes and corporate services (by-laws, power of attorney)
  • Defines commercial and industrial controlling system (bill of materials, cycles, commercial planning, reporting)
  • Support ERP choice and develop for accounting module
  • Open banking activities (choice of institution, account opening, payments)
  • Coordinate with consultants for various issues (legal, HR research, accounting)

     

Skills and qualifications :

Education and / or experience

  • 10 years + in project management and finance
  • Degree/background in business, management, budgeting and analysis
  • Experience in the implementation of an ERP and/or accounting systems
  • Experience with complex/high profile projects

Specific skills

  • Resourceful and able to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Comfortable with finance, regulations, monitoring/control systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in a start-up environment
  • Autonomous profile, able to complete complex projects with minimal input
