Job description :

Our client a global pharmaceutical company is looking to hire a Canadian Country Manager.

His/Her goal will be to accelerate the strategic growth and profitability of the company and lead the day-to-day operations of the organization, including all sales, marketing, reporting and compliance activities.

You will be responsible to:

• Manage the entire Canadian operations
• Develop strategic plans aligned with corporate objectives
• Oversee all discussions and negotiations with local payers and health care authorities
• Lead, motivate and provide strategic direction
• Oversee the recruiting, coaching and professional development of the team
• Take initiative relating to market approach and modify plans to meet evolving market conditions and emerging opportunities
• Maintain regular contact with key opinion leaders and critical customers
• Manage and steer country product launch plans in liaison with Global Launch team
• Prepare commercial forecasts
• Develop realistic and achievable sales and cost budgets and objectives
• Ensure supply readiness

Skills and qualifications :

We are looking for a candidate with more than 10 years of experience managing a pharmaceutical company with specialty products.

He/she will be highly driven, have a passion for learning about and engaging with new cultures, and a desire to build a business from the ground up.
